Once you have submitted a submission form or contacted us via phone, here's what you can expect:
Your submission form or phone call will be responded to within 48 business hours. Our administrative staff will contact you and let you know they received your email or voicemail. The staff person will likely ask for more information regarding your inquiry to help ensure that you will be connected with a therapist who can meet your needs.
If the therapist you're interested in seeing is available, our administrative staff will connect you with them. The therapist will then contact you to schedule a free consultation to discuss your needs and reasons for seeking therapy. Please note that some clinicians may not require a consultation; feel free to inquire about this when contacted. If you and the therapist decide to move forward with therapy, we will create your client portal via TherapyNotes.com and provide you will the necessary forms to be completed before your first appointment.
If the therapist you're interested in seeing is unavailable, you will be placed on our waitlist with your permission. Wait times vary depending on the therapist's availability and the client’s ability to accommodate the available time slot. Please follow up with our administrative staff if you haven't heard from our office or a therapist within the estimated wait time.
Please remember that our administrative staff do not schedule sessions for our therapists or have control over their schedules.
-
The length of time you will be in therapy depends on your individual needs, the specifics of your presenting concerns, and the type of therapy you receive. While it’s impossible to predict how long someone will choose to be in therapy or how long it takes to heal, many clients are seen anywhere from a few months to several years. This is an excellent question to ask your therapist once you have started services with us or any other provider.
-
The wait time for an appointment can vary based on several factors, including the time of year, your therapist preference, and the type of therapy you seek (individual, couples, or family). For a more accurate estimate, please contact our office directly at info@lcwellbeing.com.
-
Our waitlist is on a first-come, first-served basis. When a potential client is placed on our waitlist, we do our best to schedule them as quickly as possible. Our intake coordinator works directly with our clinicians during this process. If you don’t hear back from us within the time frame you were told, please contact us at info@lcwellbeing.com or 216-279-0398. You can always reach out to ask to request an update on your spot on the waitlist.
-
Yes, and we encourage you to do so. If you find a therapist at a different practice, we encourage you to contact us so we can remove you from our waiting list. We do our best to accommodate new clients and understand that services are sometimes needed sooner than we can provide.
-
If you are unable to wait to meet with one of our therapists or you are currently experiencing a crisis, please contact the following organizations for assistance:
Mobile Crisis Line: (216) 623-6888
NAMI of Greater Cleveland: 216-875-7776
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please go to your nearest emergency room or contact 911 or emergency services right away. Larchmere Center for Well-Being does not provide crisis intervention.

If a client needs to cancel or reschedule their appointment, we require that they do so at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations or changes made after this deadline may result in a $100 fee. Additionally, if the client fails to attend their scheduled appointment, they will be charged the same fee. Please remember that a session is considered a no-show after 15 minutes.
