As a Mental Health Therapist, I am passionate about connecting with others to help reduce emotional distress and in supporting, encouraging and fostering positive healing and growth from within a collaborative relationship with those with whom I work.
It is my intention to provide a supportive, positive, and respectful environment in which strong therapeutic relationships can grow. It is of utmost importance that I provide a culturally competent, all inclusive, accepting environment, that is comfortable for people from all walks of life; race, color, religious belief, gender, gender expression, age, ability, and sexual orientation will not be discriminated against.
I utilize a collaborative, eclectic and holistic approach to health and wellness. Whole person interventions address cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral aspects of mental and emotional health, and utilizes a past – present – future orientation for perspective taking in the therapeutic process.
I offer a trauma-informed approach to healing, that is client-centered and solution-focused. Therapies utilized in this regard include cognitive, behavioral / Applied Behavioral Analysis, and EMDR.
